Oh man
This one is hitting me harder than most.
I usually joke about being in the darkest timeline but it feels a little too real with everything else going on at the same time.
I’ve spent the last two and a half years before Designer Con returned to CA working on my art after the day job.
It’s been my “5-9PM” ritual to “Get back to work, Bob“ as we say in our house.
I’d come home and jump on my PC, open Blender and then turn on my Youtube mix.
This was my go-to mix for most nights, https://youtu.be/F1KKRcItk88?si=QP-ZaRkXHsbSof7W, I’ve since turned it into a playlist to share.
I connected deeply with their music because these artist were committed to their visions.
Night after night it reminded me to stay committed to mine.
People are drawn to what's new, exciting, and never seen before.
But before creativity is celebrated, it's usually questioned.
Still, the pull to create is always worth the pursuit.
If we're lucky, we get to keep answering that call as artists sharing our imaginations with others.
